Earth hour is an annual event and it was started off by Australia.Earth hour is held this Saturday on 28 March 2009 at 8:30pm.I think that people are organising this event to prevent global warming as now a days, people tends to pollutes the earth in many different ways.Everyone will be switching off their lights at home to participate in this annual event.I will celebrate this event with my cousins as my cousin birthday was originally on April fool's day but we decided to bring forward her birthday as it was a Saturday as there will be no school the next day.Earth is now facing global warming and that can cause the temperature to rise and causing the north pole to melt and we would not want that to happen.I think that people should not use too much electricity as we need to burn fuels to generate electricity but that will pollute the air. |
