A 49-year-old man with heart problem had became the first person to die here in Singapore due to the Influenza(H1N1) virus.He was admitted to Changi General Hospital.His family took him to the hospital when his condition worsened after four days of flu-like symptoms.By then his condition was aready critical and he was admitted to the intensive care unit.Apart from emergency and life support treatment,he was also prescribed anti-viral and antibiotic medicines.Hoever,he died at the hospital at 2.30pm.This affects the country by being more alert and not take H1N1 so lightly.Other countries have to be more alert as the H1N1 spreads very fast and more people have a high chance dying.

During Racial harmony day, our class watch a video on a concert in class due to the H1N1.Of the 4 weddings(Eurasian.Chinese,Indian,Malay),I find the Chinese wedding the most interesting.I like the Chinese wedding as there is a tea ceremony and the Chinese couple have to offer tea to their parents and their parents will give them each a red packet.A Chinese couple with their parents lives next door to me.Sometimes when they go overseas, they will buy some goodies for us and when sometimes when they bake some cakes, they will give us some of it.When we go overseas and there is no ones at home, we can count on my neighbour to water our plants and watch out for our house in case there is a thief.I do not leave the door open to welcome the neighbours.Racial Harmony Day is a day where all races come together and celebrate and not quarreling with each other.
