A 49-year-old man with heart problem had became the first person to die here in Singapore due to the Influenza(H1N1) virus.He was admitted to Changi General Hospital.His family took him to the hospital when his condition worsened after four days of flu-like symptoms.By then his condition was aready critical and he was admitted to the intensive care unit.Apart from emergency and life support treatment,he was also prescribed anti-viral and antibiotic medicines.Hoever,he died at the hospital at 2.30pm.This affects the country by being more alert and not take H1N1 so lightly.Other countries have to be more alert as the H1N1 spreads very fast and more people have a high chance dying.
